Our 2023 wedding season began last weekend with a Mexican Feast.

We are entering 2023 with a brand-new kitchen team that is eager to get started and our existing waitressing team who work with such passion!

The request from our bride and groom was for a sharing menu with a Mexican flair. When we conversed back and forth with Rebecca and Jonathan, we discovered that they were athletes who desired a lot of food and understood the value of a social eating experience.

From there, we developed their wedding feast.

Canapes:

• Fish and Chips
• Onion Bhajis
• Chickpea Curry on a poppadom
  
  

To Begin:

Loaded Nachos topped with cheddar cheese and chilli’s with ramakins of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole which gave the guests options to ‘load’ them as much as they would like.

Main:

A variety of quesadilla’s, including pulled beef and achiote chicken. Served with a fresh corn salad and Mexican rice. With the choice of spicy vegetables on Vegetarians.

Dessert

A Trio of warm chocolate pots, Tissington Mess and Bakewell Tart.

After a fun interlude of interactive salsa, we presented our grazing tables, these are becoming increasingly popular. In addition to being delicious, they also serve as an aesthetic element and let the guests eat as much or as little as they wish!

Our meal was very well received! Having Jonathan's Hispanic father remark on how excellent our interpretation on Mexican food was a huge compliment to ourselves.

Bespoke menus are so exciting to create, and watch come to life; our Mexican meal was particular to Rebecca & Jonathan and something we had never done before.

We couldn't have wished for a greater bride and groom to kick off our season with! We wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
