This month has been super busy for Uppercrust! We've catered 7 weddings and a further 8 buffets/grazing tables, plus a couple of our popular hampers, feeding a total of 1,175 mouths!

We've had such a variety of different menus, which has been really fun for both staff and chefs to create. Here are some of the bespoke menus we created in June.

A Tex-Mex style sharing menu. This included BBQ pulled pork and beef brisket accompanied by charred sweetcorn, hassleback potatoes, roasted vegetables, and pink coleslaw. It was a hit with guests and really suited our bride & grooms preferences!

Another popular choice was our Mediterranean style menu, featuring an array of dishes such as kebabs, flatbreads, and Mediterranean dips. Alongside our meat board we served honey halloumi, aubergine parmigiana, Spanish meatballs, and fresh salads. 

We also offered a carving style sharer, which allowed guests to carve their own joints of meat. This menu included Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, and roast potatoes. It was perfect for those who enjoy a traditional meal with a hands-on twist.

Finally, our summer salads and sliced meats menu featured a variety of fresh summer salads along with joints of pork and beef served with crispy crackling. This option was ideal for the warmer weather and was the perfect menu to suit our clients special day!

In addition to the bespoke menus, we visited a variety of venues throughout June. We were at Osmaston Park four times this month and had the pleasure of catering at the stunning Royle Forest Wedding Venue. Our bookings also took us to a number of private events across Yoxall, Duffield, Long Eaton, and Ipstones.

It has been a busy but extremely rewarding month with lovely clients and guests. Bring on a super busy July!
