We catered another stunning wedding at Tissington Hall for the Wonderful Christine and Jonathan to bring April to a memorable close.

It was a pleasure working with the happy couple; after a private tasting with their family, we collaborated with them to create the menu you see below.

Chosen Wedding Breakfast Menu:

Canape Menu:

-Hoisin Duck, Cucumber Cup
-Mini Yorkshire Puddings, Roast Beef, Horseradish
-Mini Brie and Cranberry Tarts
-Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Blinis
-Fish & Chips with Tartar Sauce
-Mushroom Arancini

Baskets filled with Local Ashbourne baked Breads with Oil and Butter
Starter: Option of: Smoked Salmon Roulade with a Pickled Cucumber Salad or Goats Cheese and Red Onion Tartlet with a Micro Salad.
Main: Option of: Derbyshire Chicken stuffed with Gruyere Cheese, wrapped in Pancetta with a Tomato and Basil sauce or Roast Salmon, Crushed Potatoes, and Asparagus with a White Wine sauce.
Accompaniments: Roasted Roast Mediterranean Vegetables and Greens
Dessert: A Trio of Classic Eton Mess, Rich Dark Chocolate Torte, Lemon Cheesecake

The couple's idea was to have lots of canapes, with options that would appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements. These were enjoyed alongside an Aperol spritz, which the Tissington Hall staff offered on a gorgeous sunny day.

The biggest challenge for the bride and groom was having to choose from five of their favourite desserts, so it was fortunate that our trio offered them the chance to experience an assortment. We frequently suggest a fruity or chocolate dessert to provide a good balance!

With only a small marquee kitchen, our wonderful team easily handled our bride and groom's requirement to prepare for 120 seated guests. We concentrated on preparing a wedding breakfast that was hearty yet elegant, and as requested, included plenty of food!
