Funeral Wake Catering

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, we aim to make planning a wake as simple as possible.

 

Things to keep in mind while planning the funeral catering:

- Have an approximate idea of the number of guests you anticipate; not every visitor will return, so don't organise catering for everyone.
-Consider the time of day; people will eat less as the day goes on. Your visitors might have evening plans, kids to pick up, etc.
- Make your caterer aware of any dietary restrictions you may have so that problems can be avoided on the day.
- Recognise whether your facility has staff to serve beverages or whether you require your caterer to stay and do so.
-Would you like any alcohol? A few helpful considerations: thinking of the time of day, if the relative who passed had a favourite drink you want to serve?
-Does your venue provide glassware/ Cups and saucers or do you need to hire any in?
